Club Newsletters:

This page contains recent club newsletters as Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) files for your
interest. Be warned these files can be quite large at times (over 500Kb) and may be slow to load.

Check back here frequently for updates as these often contain items of general interest and
informative articles.

Notes about Adobe Acrobat:

If you are e-mailing your newsletters as document files from a word processor you may
be experiencing problems with the size of the file, or maybe the size is preventing you from
taking advantage of e-mail. Also it is presumptuous to send someone a document from your
word processor as that person may not have that application or even the version that you use.

The solution is to convert your .doc files to Adobe's proprietary"Acrobat" format .pdf. These
have the advantage of being much smaller and retain their format on another persons computer.
Adobe's Acrobat reader is free and widely available from many sources.

If you don't have the Acrobat reader you can get it here.

How do I convert document files to Adobe format without the full Adobe Software?
Easy - there are several shareware packages that will do this. One that I like (and it's free)
is Cutepdf Writer. Another idea is to get a Mac :-)
